92.8 million dinars in local real estate sales over 5 days

Statistics released yesterday by the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at the Ministry of Justice showed that 153 real estate contracts were traded during the week from July 5 to 9, with a total value of approximately 92.8 million Kuwaiti dinars (around $306 million).

The statistics, published on the ministry’s website, indicated that private real estate contracts led the market with 117 contracts valued at 51 million dinars (around $168 million). Investment real estate contracts came in second, with 31 contracts valued at 25 million dinars (around $82.5 million), while commercial real estate transactions ranked third with four contracts valued at 16.2 million dinars (around $4.53 million).

The data revealed that real estate contract transactions were distributed as follows: 13 private real estate contracts, two investment contracts, and two commercial contracts in the Capital Governorate. In Hawalli Governorate, 21 private real estate contracts and five investment contracts were traded. Meanwhile, Al-Farwaniyah Governorate saw seven private real estate contracts, three investment contracts, and one commercial contract traded.

Additionally, Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate recorded ten private real estate contracts and one investment contract, while Ahmadi Governorate saw 45 private real estate contracts and 20 investment contracts traded. Al-Jahra Governorate recorded 21 private real estate contracts and one commercial contract.
