Ministry of Transport Sets Maintenance Schedules for Shuwaikh and Al-Surra Switching Centers

The Ministry of Transport announced that routine maintenance works will be carried out on several telephone exchanges in the coming days, as part of its plan to develop telecommunications infrastructure and enhance the efficiency of services provided to subscribers.

The ministry clarified that the maintenance works will include the Shuwaikh exchange on Tuesday, followed by the Sulaibikhat exchange on Monday, July 27, 2026, and the Salwa exchange on Wednesday, July 29, during the period from 12:00 midnight to 6:00 a.m.

It noted that the maintenance works may temporarily affect certain telecommunications services during the specified hours, urging subscribers to take this into account when using the services.

The ministry emphasized that these works are part of periodic maintenance and upgrade programs aimed at enhancing network stability and improving service quality, expressing its gratitude to citizens and residents for their understanding and cooperation during the maintenance period.
