"Zikr" Wins Guinness World Records Title
The Zeekr 7X has earned a place in the Guinness World Records for the narrowest gap successfully navigated while drifting an electric vehicle, after managing to pass through a gap measuring just 25 centimeters in width.
The record was officially achieved at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, marking an achievement that embodies exceptional levels of precision, stability, and dynamic control exhibited by the Zeekr 7X. This feat highlights the advanced capabilities of Zeekr’s Smart Electric Experience (SEA) platform and underscores the brand’s commitment to engineering excellence and continuous innovation.
The record-breaking performance of the Zeekr 7X is built on a sophisticated combination of suspension system engineering and intelligent vehicle control systems. The front double wishbone suspension provides high precision and ultra-responsive steering, translating driver inputs into precise vehicle movements. Meanwhile, the high-performance rear electric motor generates instant torque that can be precisely controlled, enabling smooth and sustained drifts with the ability to make fine adjustments to the vehicle’s direction through accelerator pedal control. These technologies integrate seamlessly with the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, which grants the vehicle exceptional structural rigidity and a low center of gravity, enhancing stability and balance and giving drivers greater confidence even under extreme driving conditions.
The record attempt served as the centerpiece of the brand’s global celebrations marking its fifth anniversary. Since its launch in 2021, Zeekr has quickly established itself as a leading brand in the luxury smart electric mobility sector, by continuously pushing the boundaries of design, technology, safety, and performance.
