Traffic Department Sets Official Working Hours for All Its Departments Across the Governorates

The General Directorate of Traffic announced the official working hours for all departments across the country’s governorates, as part of efforts to organize the reception of clients and facilitate the processing of their transactions. These hours cover technical inspection departments, driving test sections, driver’s license sections, vehicle license sections, and violation departments, with morning and evening shifts allocated according to the nature of each department.

The Directorate stated that technical inspection departments and driving test sections will operate during the morning shift from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and during the evening shift from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

It clarified that driver’s license sections, vehicle license sections, and violation sections will operate during the morning shift from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and during the evening shift from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The Directorate emphasized that these schedules apply to all governorates, urging clients to arrive well before the end of their designated time slot to ensure their transactions are completed, while noting the differences in evening hours among the various departments.
