Al-Mikhaizim heads the field monitoring

The Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, Dr. Subaih Al-Mukhaimis, and the Deputy Minister, Dr. Adel Al-Zamil, visited the incident site at both power plants to assess on the ground the extent of the damage caused by the reprehensible attacks, and to monitor response and emergency operations and the technical measures taken to maintain the stability of the electricity and water systems.
During their inspection tour at the first site, accompanied by the Governor of Ahmadi, Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ahmad, Al-Mukhaimis and Al-Zamil listened to briefings from specialists regarding the nature of the damage sustained by the plant, the measures implemented since the first hours after the incident, and the plan to rehabilitate the damaged facilities and return generation units to service in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency and safety.
They also reviewed the efforts of the security and safety teams and the General Fire Force, alongside the engineering and technical personnel working at the site, commending the rapid response and efficiency demonstrated by the field teams in containing the impacts of the two incidents, and their continued round-the-clock operations to accelerate the plant’s return to operational readiness.
Al-Mukhaimis emphasized that the Ministry has mobilized all its technical and human resources, in coordination with relevant authorities, to ensure the continuity of electricity and water production and to mitigate any potential repercussions on the system, while praising the dedication and loyalty of workers in fulfilling their national duty during these exceptional circumstances.
