McDonald's Kuwait - Al-Muwasharji Honors Top High School Students

Reaffirming its steadfast commitment to supporting education, encouraging academic excellence, and empowering youth, Al-Muwasharji – McDonald’s Kuwait held its annual ceremony to honor the top graduates of the Kuwaiti General Secondary Education Certificate for the 2025-2026 academic year. This marks the third consecutive year the company has undertaken this initiative, reflecting its belief in the importance of investing in young national talent and its role in contributing to building a brighter future for Kuwait, in alignment with the objectives of Kuwait Vision 2035, which aims to develop human capital and prepare a generation capable of leading sustainable development.

This year’s ceremony honored 25 male and female students who were top graduates of the General Secondary Education Certificate, representing various educational tracks: five students from the Science Section, five from the Arts Section, five students with special needs from the Science Section, five students with special needs from the Arts Section, and five students from Religious Education. This step reflects McDonald’s Kuwait’s dedication to celebrating academic excellence across all educational tracks, supporting outstanding students, and motivating them to continue their educational journey and achieve further accomplishments.

McDonald’s Kuwait also celebrated several sons and daughters of its employees who graduated this year, a gesture reflecting the company’s appreciation for its staff and its desire to share important milestones with their families.

The initiative falls under the company’s comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility program, “Ma’akom,” which demonstrates its ongoing commitment to supporting the Kuwaiti community across all segments, particularly youth and people of determination, through targeted and sustainable initiatives.

On this occasion, Khaled Bassim Al-Muwasharji, Human Resources Manager at McDonald’s Kuwait, said: “We are proud today to honor this distinguished group of students who represent an exemplary model of perseverance, diligence, and ambition. This year’s expansion of the initiative to include various educational tracks, including students with special needs and those in Religious Education, stems from our belief that excellence deserves recognition in all fields, and that encouraging students to continue their journey of distinction is a genuine investment in Kuwait’s future.”

Al-Muwasharji added: “Support for people of determination holds a firmly established place within our corporate social responsibility. We strive to translate this commitment into action through targeted initiatives, the provision of employment opportunities, and the enhancement of an inclusive work environment that believes in everyone’s capabilities, thereby enabling them to participate, succeed, and contribute actively to society.”
