Squash heads to the World Championship in Canada

The Kuwait youth national squash team has departed for Canada to participate in the World Championship, which kicks off on Monday and concludes on the 31st of this month. The competition begins with the individual events and lasts for four days, after which the team event commences.
The squad prepared for the tournament domestically through morning and evening training sessions before departing for Cairo for a 10-day preparatory camp. During the camp, the players engaged in several tough matches, delivering outstanding performances against their Egyptian counterparts. The head coach used the opportunity to correct technical errors and enhance the players’ physical conditioning.
The head of the delegation praised the players’ morale following the success of the external camp in Cairo and their participation in numerous challenging matches, which enriched their experience in handling difficult contests. He expressed his hope that the players would deliver the expected performance at the World Championship and secure high placements in both the individual and team events.
