Control of 5 fires resulting from recent Iranian attacks

The official spokesperson for the General Fire Force, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Gharib, announced that fire crews managed to control two fires that broke out in different locations across the country this Saturday afternoon, following targeted attacks as part of hostile actions stemming from the unjust Iranian aggression against the country. Five fire teams, supported by teams from the oil sector’s fire department, responded to the first site, while three fire teams attended to the second site.

Al-Gharib clarified that fire crews immediately began firefighting and containment operations upon arrival. The incident at the first site resulted in injuries to several firefighters and one worker from the oil sector, due to renewed targeting of the location during firefighting efforts. First aid was administered to the injured, who were then transferred to medical emergency services and subsequently hospitalized for treatment.

Al-Gharib added that the General Fire Force also responded to three separate fires ignited by falling debris in several residential areas, successfully controlling and extinguishing them. The damage was limited to property, with no injuries reported.
