Defense Ministry: We have detected hostile ballistic missiles and drones since dawn today and intercepted and neutralized them

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, announced that the Armed Forces had detected hostile ballistic missiles and drones within Kuwaiti airspace since dawn on Friday, and that they were intercepted and neutralized.
Colonel Al-Atwan added in a press statement that the culpable Iranian aggression resulted in the targeting of several Kuwaiti Army facilities and camps by hostile drones, leading to injuries among members of the Kuwaiti Land Force while they were carrying out their duties. The injured received necessary medical care and treatment, and their health conditions are stable.
He further noted that several vital and civilian facilities were targeted, including one of the power stations and a water desalination plant, which caused a fire and damaged several station facilities and power generation units. Additionally, debris fell in various locations across the country, resulting in material damage without any recorded human casualties.
Colonel Al-Atwan emphasized that the Armed Forces continue to carry out their duties and responsibilities with high efficiency, within the framework of constant readiness and preparedness, and are taking all necessary measures to protect the nation’s sovereignty and safeguard its security and stability, in coordination with the relevant authorities, to ensure the safety of citizens and residents.
