"The '5 Wives File and Former MP and Advisor'... The number of revoked nationalities rises to 520"

- The original file holder has five wives... Three of them have sons registered under his file, but they are not his biological children.
- It was revealed that an additional son was fraudulently added to the fourth wife’s file.
- The committee had previously revoked the citizenship of these fake names and their dependents, including a former member of the National Assembly.
- The new file pertains to one of the sons fraudulently added to the file of one of the three wives, born in 1947 and now deceased.
- He registered four fictitious names as his sons as a precaution, to allow for the future addition of more fraudulent entries.
- Three decisive pieces of evidence: His name did not appear in the heirs’ registry; DNA fingerprinting results; and his actual siblings confirmed he is not their brother.
- The test results conclusively disproved any kinship between the fraudulently added sons and their supposed uncles, who are the biological children of the original file holder.
The High Committee for Citizenship Verification completed its review of one of the largest fraud cases, after deciding to revoke the citizenship of a deceased individual fraudulently added to a Kuwaiti citizen’s file. This individual had 53 dependents, bringing the total number of citizenships revoked under this case to 520. This follows the previous revocation of citizenship for 467 individuals in earlier stages, while investigations into the original file continue to uncover the true identity and background of its holder.
In detail of the case, sources familiar with the matter told Al-Rai that the original file holder has five wives. Previous investigations revealed that three of his wives have sons registered under his file, none of whom are his biological children. It was also revealed that an additional son was fraudulently added to the fourth wife’s file. The committee had previously revoked the citizenship of these fraudulent names and their dependents, totaling 467 individuals, including a former member of the National Assembly and a former advisor.
The sources added that the committee discussed, in its latest meeting, the file of one of the sons fraudulently added to the file of one of the three wives, who was born in 1947 and is now deceased.
They noted that this individual had 53 sons and daughters registered under his file. It was also revealed that he had registered four fictitious names as his sons as a precaution, to facilitate the future addition of more fraudulent entries.
According to investigations, the fraud case relied on three main pieces of evidence. The first was that the individual’s name did not appear in the heirs’ registry. The second involved interviews with his actual siblings, who confirmed that he is not their brother and had been fraudulently added to their father’s file.
The third piece of evidence consisted of DNA fingerprinting results, which compared the fraudulently added sons with the biological children of the original file holder, who are their supposed uncles. The test results conclusively proved the absence of any kinship between them.
Thus, the evidence in this fraudulently added individual’s file is now complete. The main file will remain open until the true identity and background of the original file holder are established.
The High Committee decided to revoke the citizenship of the fraudulently added individual and all sons registered under his file, bringing the total number of citizenships revoked under this case to 520 fraud cases, all linked to the original file holder’s citizenship.
