Chief of Staff Discusses with His Turkish Counterpart Ways to Develop Military and Defense Cooperation

Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, met with Chief of the Turkish General Staff, General Salih Okyar, during his official visit to Turkey, where he was accorded a formal welcome ceremony at the Turkish General Staff headquarters in the capital, Ankara.

The Kuwaiti Armed Forces General Staff announced in a statement on Thursday that Lieutenant General Al-Sharhan reviewed with his Turkish counterpart the military and defense cooperation between the two friendly countries, and discussed ways to develop and strengthen it.

The statement added that the meeting addressed discussions on several issues of mutual interest concerning regional and international developments.
