Al-Fajam and Al-Furaniyan Governor: Coordination to ensure readiness of Applied Science Colleges

The meeting, held at the Al-Farwaniya Governorate headquarters at the invitation of the governor, was part of efforts to monitor the needs of government facilities in the governorate and enhance coordination with relevant authorities, with a delegation of senior officials from the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in attendance.
At the outset of the meeting, Al-Fajam provided an overview of the authority’s colleges and institutes, outlining the academic and training programs they offer. The two sides then discussed mechanisms to develop cooperation in ways that support the educational process and improve the level of services provided to students.
The meeting addressed the main challenges anticipated with the start of the academic year, foremost among them being traffic congestion around the authority’s colleges. Several proposed solutions and measures were reviewed in coordination with the competent authorities, aiming to regulate traffic flow, facilitate the entry and exit of students and authority personnel, and ensure smooth movement during peak hours.
The two sides also discussed the readiness of shelters in the authority’s colleges in terms of maintenance and preparation, compliance with safety requirements and approved regulations, as well as monitoring the readiness of surrounding facilities and services, all of which contribute to providing a safe and organized educational environment with the commencement of the academic year.
