Through its interactive booth, the bank supported high school students preparing for university education by introducing them to available academic opportunities, domestic scholarship programs, and various majors, helping them make confident and informed decisions about their futures.

The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Jassem Al-Ali, Secretary General of the Council of Private Universities; Fahd Al-Khalifa, Director of Domestic Scholarships at the Council’s General Secretariat; Hisham Al-Nassif, Head of Personal Banking at National Bank of Kuwait; Ghadeer Al-Awadi, Deputy Head of Sales Channels and Distribution Strategy; and Amal Al-Duwaisan, President of Wiyah Bank, along with several officials and representatives of participating entities.

Wiyah Bank showcased a range of digital banking solutions and services designed for young people, emphasizing the importance of developing sound financial habits from the start of university life. Students were introduced to the SELECT card, specifically tailored for university students, which offers exclusive benefits, offers, and rewards from leading brands, enhancing their university experience and supporting their daily needs during this crucial stage of their lives.

Wiyah Bank’s participation aligns with its ongoing commitment to supporting young people and accompanying them through various pivotal life stages by providing innovative digital banking solutions and interactive experiences that contribute to building a more aware and future-ready generation.

The campaign aims to support students and their parents during the university admission and registration phase by providing academic guidance and introducing domestic scholarship programs and various majors, helping students choose educational paths that align with their interests, aspirations, and labor market requirements.

Al-Ali stated, “The campaign stems from the Council of Private Universities’ commitment to providing proper guidance during this pivotal stage, helping students choose majors that match their abilities, aspirations, and labor market needs, thereby positively impacting their academic and professional futures.”

For her part, Al-Duwaisan expressed pride in participating as a strategic partner in the campaign, saying, “Driven by our belief in the importance of supporting young people at all stages of their lives. Transitioning to university is not just about choosing an academic major; it also involves building financial awareness, acquiring money management skills, and planning for the future.”

The partnership reflects both parties’ commitment to providing a comprehensive awareness experience for students, combining academic guidance with financial literacy, helping them prepare for university life and make informed decisions that contribute to successfully building their academic and professional futures.
