Abdullah Bahman to guard the goal for "Sporty"... as the upcoming league kicks off

Artist Abdullah Bahman revealed in an interview with “Al-Rai” that he is embarking on his first professional sports experience in his career, having joined the “Sporty” Sports Club as a goalkeeper. He emphasized that this step represents a personal dream he has long sought to achieve, driven by his deep love for football.
In detail, Bahman stated, “This is the first time I am undertaking a sports experience professionally. It is not a spontaneous decision, but the result of a long preparation period spanning the past two years. I adhered to an intensive training program that included physical fitness, reflex and flexibility strengthening, alongside specialized sessions for goalkeepers. My goal was to reach full readiness before participating in official competitions and to be qualified to shoulder the responsibility of goalkeeping, delivering the level that matches the club’s trust in me.”
He added, “Football has always been an essential part of my life. My passion for it never waned despite my busy schedule in artistic work. Therefore, I decided to give myself a real opportunity to take on this challenge and prove that passion, when coupled with commitment and hard work, can become a reality.”
Bahman confirmed that he will officially wear the “Sporty” club jersey as a goalkeeper when the sports season begins next August. He expressed his enthusiasm for the experience and extended his gratitude to the club’s management, as well as the technical and administrative staff, for their trust. He hoped to live up to their expectations and make the required contribution on the pitch.
Regarding the possibility of balancing his artistic activities with his sports commitments, he clarified, “I have been training consistently for two years, participating in the Ministers’ League, while simultaneously filming dramatic works. Therefore, this has not been an obstacle for me, nor will it cause me to distance myself from the art I love, as I am able to coordinate between the two.”
On his new artistic projects, he revealed, “I am preparing to film a new social drama produced by Al-Mojtamaa Al-Fanni (The Art Group). It adopts a different realistic style, consists of 30 episodes, and is directed by Khaled Al-Fadli. It stars a group of prominent actors, including Ibrahim Al-Harbi, Nour Al-Dalimi, and Fahd Basm, along with a group of other artists.”
He continued, “I also have a second dramatic project in which I will collaborate with the same company, in preparation for the upcoming Ramadan dramatic season. However, I prefer not to disclose its details at this time.”
