Kuwait Airways launches its first direct flights to Damascus

Kuwait Airways launched its first direct scheduled flights to Damascus in the Syrian Arab Republic today, Wednesday, July 15, 2026, with one daily flight, as part of its strategy to expand its regional and international destination network and meet growing travel demand, thereby offering passengers greater flexibility and diverse travel options.

Al-Shatti stated that Damascus’s return to Kuwait Airways’ network marks an important milestone in the company’s operational plans, reflecting the national carrier’s commitment to providing additional destinations that cater to passengers’ needs, whether for business, family visits, or tourism, while also contributing to strengthening air connectivity between the State of Kuwait and the Syrian Arab Republic.
