Boubyan Capital, the leading Sharia-compliant investment company and a subsidiary of Boubyan Bank, announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Badriya Al-Humaidi, has been included in Forbes’ list of the Top 50 Asset Management Executives in the Middle East for 2026.
Al-Humaidi ranked sixth in Kuwait and 31st across the region, a recognition reflecting the company’s achievements in recent years and its ability to build a comprehensive investment platform that has strengthened its position as one of the leading asset management and investment firms in Kuwait and the region.
This ranking comes as Boubyan Capital continues to implement its strategy aimed at achieving sustainable growth, developing specialized investment solutions, and strengthening partnerships with global financial and investment institutions, alongside investing in digital transformation and innovation to create long-term value for its clients.
Total assets under management at the company reached over $3 billion by the end of 2025, representing growth of more than 12 percent compared to 2024, underscoring the company’s continued efforts to strengthen its presence in the asset management and investment market.
The company manages the largest Sharia-compliant money market fund by volume in the local market, in addition to trading sukuk and investment funds through a comprehensive investment platform.
It has also strengthened its presence in the private equity sector through strategic investments in key economic segments, including the first licensed company offering a “buy now, pay later” service in Kuwait, the first company operating in the open banking infrastructure sector, as well as startups and the entrepreneurship sector. This reflects its approach to supporting promising economic sectors and embracing investment opportunities linked to innovation and the digital economy.
Al-Humaidi possesses over 22 years of professional experience in investment and asset management, having held various executive positions in prestigious financial and investment institutions. She has served as CEO of Boubyan Capital since 2022, during which she has led the company toward a new phase of growth, expansion, and enhanced presence in the asset management sector.
Commenting on the recognition, Al-Humaidi said, “We view this ranking as a testament to our clients’ trust, rather than just an acknowledgment of our performance. It is the result of the efforts made by our team and their continuous commitment to delivering investment solutions that combine institutional depth with digital agility, grounded in local expertise and strategic global partnerships, ensuring sustainable value for our clients.”
She added, “We will continue to invest in developing our products and services, strengthening our partnerships with global investment institutions, and leveraging digital technologies to provide a more efficient and flexible investment experience, while maintaining our commitment to offering high-quality Sharia-compliant investment opportunities that place the investor—whether individual or institutional—at the core of our priorities.”
