Bangkok Fire Death Toll Rises to 32

Bangkok – AFP – Thai authorities announced that the death toll from a fire that broke out on Sunday evening at a nightclub in Bangkok has risen to 32, while the government affirmed its intention to impose stricter controls on nightclubs across the country.

The initial death toll was reported at 27, but several of the injured later succumbed to their injuries, raising the total number of fatalities to 32, according to officials in the Chatuchak district.
