Tareq Al-Jumaa in "Hazy Files"

Saudi artist Tariq Al-Jumaa stars in a new series titled “Blurry Files,” under the supervision of director Mohammed Daham Al-Shammari. The work is a suspenseful drama that relies on mystery and excitement, featuring a select group of Gulf stars who appear as leads and guest stars in its separate episodes, including Hussein Al-Mansour, Shaila Sa’eed, Yasser Al-Amiri, and Jamran Al-Ruwaili, alongside Fatima Abdulrahim, Latifa Al-Majrun, Mariam Al-Ghamdi, Nasser Mohammed, Mohammed Anwar, and Marwa Mohammed, along with a number of other artists. The series is directed by Ali Al-Shuwaifi.

Speaking to “Al-Rai,” Al-Jumaa said that he portrays a variety of different characters throughout the series. In the episode “By Order of the Devil,” he plays a young man suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder, while in “Narrow Corridors,” he experiences liminal situations within a thrilling dramatic framework.

He added that in the episode “Crime on Eid Night,” he finds himself a victim of his sisters in a storyline filled with suspense and mystery. Meanwhile, in “School of Jinn,” he confronts a tribe of jinn within the halls of a school. This episode will begin with a special warning advising children to stay away from the screen due to the nature of its content.

Al-Jumaa clarified that “Blurry Files” unfolds within a suspenseful dramatic framework, shrouded in mystery and driven by a fast-paced rhythm of scenes, which enhances the element of suspense and draws viewers into following the details of each episode. He noted that the series consists of seven separate episodes, each with its own distinct story, events, and characters.

Al-Jumaa concluded his remarks by expressing gratitude and appreciation to director Mohammed Daham Al-Shammari, describing him as a true artistic school from which many artists and directors have graduated. He praised Al-Shammari’s support and trust, as well as the artistic expertise he brings, which enriches the experiences of those participating in his projects.
