King of Spain to Attend World Cup Final

Madrid (AFP) – The royal palace announced that King Felipe VI of Spain will attend his country’s match in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, scheduled for next Sunday in East Rutherford, on the outskirts of New York.
The royal palace told Agence France-Presse: “All four will go,” referring to King Felipe VI, his wife Queen Letizia, and their two daughters, Princesses Leonor and Sofia.
Spain reached the final for the second time in its history by defeating France 2-0, and will face the winner of the match between defending champions Argentina and England.
