Amal Al-Omar wins 125,000 dinars in the monthly "Al-Jawhara" draw

National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) announced the names of 12 new winners in the “Al Jawhara” and “Al Jawhara Junior” draws, during a special event held at its headquarters and attended by several bank officials. The draws were broadcast live via the bank’s social media platforms, reaffirming its commitment to the highest standards of transparency and continuous engagement with its customers.

The event was marked by an atmosphere of enthusiasm and anticipation, reflecting the prominent status of the “Al Jawhara” draws program as one of Kuwait’s leading savings initiatives. Through this program, the bank continues to deliver a distinguished banking experience that combines savings benefits with the opportunity to win substantial cash prizes.

The monthly draw for “Al Jawhara Junior” was also conducted, resulting in seven winners. Among them, three customers won cash prizes of 1,000 Kuwaiti Dinars each, while four others won prizes of 500 Kuwaiti Dinars each. This initiative aligns with the bank’s efforts to promote a savings culture and strengthen financial awareness among younger generations.

All draws were conducted under the supervision and presence of representatives from the global audit firms Deloitte and Grant Thornton, ensuring the highest levels of integrity, transparency, and credibility throughout the entire process.

Commenting on the occasion, Hisham Al-Nassif, Head of Personal Banking at NBK, said: “The ‘Al Jawhara’ draws program continues to offer a comprehensive model that combines savings growth with rewarding customers through exceptional opportunities to win substantial cash prizes throughout the year. Over the past years, the program has established itself as one of the most successful and trusted savings programs, helping to realize the dreams of thousands of customers and turning their financial aspirations into tangible reality.”

Al-Nassif added: “The value of ‘Al Jawhara’ extends beyond the size of the prizes offered; it plays a crucial role in reinforcing savings as a strategic choice for building a more stable financial future. From this perspective, we continue to develop our savings products and solutions to provide a comprehensive banking experience that meets the aspirations of diverse customer segments, offering added value that goes beyond traditional banking services.”

Al-Nassif emphasized the bank’s commitment to applying the highest standards of fairness and equal opportunity in all draws, subjecting them to the oversight of independent global audit firms and employing precise mechanisms that ensure winning opportunities are distributed among the largest possible number of customers. Winners are ineligible to participate in any new draws for 90 working days, and winners of prizes valued at 50,000 Kuwaiti Dinars or more are excluded from participation for a full year from the date of their last win.

Concluding his remarks, Al-Nassif stated: “At NBK, we consider our customers’ success as part of our own success. Therefore, we continue to invest in developing programs and initiatives that enhance their financial well-being and provide them with real opportunities to achieve their aspirations, in line with our vision of building long-term relationships based on trust and added value.”

It is worth noting that the total value of “Al Jawhara” account prizes amounts to 5 million Kuwaiti Dinars annually, distributed across weekly prizes of 20,000 Dinars, a monthly prize of 125,000 Dinars, and a grand prize of 1 million Kuwaiti Dinars, which is drawn three times a year.

NBK continues to deliver added value to its customers through the “Al Jawhara” program, offering innovative banking solutions that combine savings with the chance to win exceptional prizes, thereby reinforcing its position as a trusted banking partner that keeps pace with customer aspirations and provides a comprehensive banking experience in accordance with the highest global standards.
