Netanyahu government continues to strengthen settlements in the West Bank

Channel 7, an Israeli network, reported that Benjamin Netanyahu’s government continues to allocate billions of shekels to bolster and strengthen settlements, with the latest agreement, reached in the presence and under the auspices of the prime minister himself, calling for the construction of 12,000 settlement units.
The channel noted that 8 billion shekels have been earmarked for infrastructure projects, including 1.5 billion for core infrastructure and 7 billion for supporting infrastructure, which includes projects for public institutions and initiatives aimed at integrating older and newer settlements, with the goal of strengthening existing settlements and developing new ones.
