Al-Najah: Sustainable Charity Projects Transform Families from Need to Productivity

Sabah Al-Filakawi, Director of the Projects Department at Al-Najah Charity, confirmed that the association continues to implement its sustainable development projects in the Arab Republic of Egypt, in line with its vision aimed at empowering low-income families and providing sustainable income sources that ensure a dignified and stable life, free from reliance on seasonal aid.

Al-Filakawi explained that sustainable charity projects represent one of the key development pathways embraced by Al-Najah Charity, focusing on transforming needy families into productive ones capable of self-reliance by providing genuine means of production tailored to each family’s needs and the nature of their living environment.

He noted that these projects include charitable kiosks that provide families with a daily income source, dairy cows that offer beneficiaries a sustainable supply of food and income, sewing machines that enable women to work and produce from their homes, and fishing boats that restore livelihoods for fishermen, enabling them to support their families with dignity.

He added that these projects have not only improved the living standards of beneficiary families but have also contributed to bringing about a genuine transformation in their lives.
