Ministry of Higher Education Holds Informational Session for Admitted Students: Overcoming Challenges for Scholarship Holders

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Badr Al-Busairi, affirmed that the ministry will continue to support and monitor students on scholarships throughout their academic journey, contributing to creating an appropriate environment for their success and overcoming any challenges they may face.

This statement was made by Al-Busairi on Monday during an informational meeting hosted by the ministry for students admitted to the external scholarship program for the 2026/2027 academic year, as part of its efforts to prepare and equip students before the start of their academic journey.

He emphasized that the ministry’s cultural offices in scholarship-hosting countries will continue to provide support, monitoring, and guidance to students, ensuring the creation of a conducive environment for their success until their return to the country, having achieved their academic aspirations and fulfilled their nation’s expectations.

He noted that the ministry, through the campaign, aims to stand by students at all stages, starting from awareness and guidance, proceeding through registration and admission, and culminating in the informational meeting, which seeks to familiarize them with post-admission procedures for the scholarship and answer their inquiries, enabling them to begin their journey with confidence and peace of mind.

Al-Busairi extended his thanks and appreciation to all participating government entities and the strategic partner of the “Wajihni” campaign, Kuwait Finance House, for their cooperation, support, and contribution to the campaign’s success, highlighting the synergy of efforts in serving students. He wished the students success in their academic journey and a safe return to their homeland, carrying knowledge and expertise to contribute to the nation’s development and help build Kuwait’s future.
