The Commercial Bank Sponsored the Honoring of High School Graduates
Under the patronage and attendance of the Governor of Mubarak Al-Kabeer and the Acting Governor of Hawalli, Sheikh Sabah Bader Al-Sabah, and with the presence of Amani Al-Wara’, Deputy General Manager of Corporate Communications at NBK, Dr. Khaled Al-Rashid, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Education, and directors of educational districts, the bank sponsored an event honoring outstanding students who achieved top ranks in the General Secondary Certificate examinations across schools in Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Hawalli governorates. The event was held at the Diwan of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate.
The event was organized as part of NBK’s corporate social responsibility programs and its contributions to community activities sponsored by civil society organizations, including Kuwait’s governorates, as well as the support and sponsorship program the bank provides for various educational and social events, in accordance with prior arrangements with Kuwait’s six governorates.
For his part, Sheikh Sabah Bader Al-Sabah praised NBK’s initiatives aimed at providing all forms of support and sponsorship to community, educational, and health events organized by Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Hawalli governorates, including this event, which was held to recognize students’ efforts and their dedication to diligence and perseverance throughout the academic year, and to encourage high achievers. He wished all outstanding students continued success in their future endeavors.
In this context, Al-Wara’ stated: “The bank is committed to providing all forms of support and sponsorship to educational and academic events, including its sponsorship of the ceremony honoring outstanding secondary school graduates. This reflects the bank’s belief in the importance of recognizing distinguished students for their academic excellence. We wish them continued success, distinction, and a smooth transition to university.”
Al-Wara’ noted that the bank’s sponsorship of this distinguished event, which received widespread approval from honored students and their families, serves to reinforce the concept of comprehensive corporate social responsibility within the framework of a program launched by NBK several years ago to support and back community and educational activities organized by Kuwait’s governorates in coordination with the relevant governorates.
