St. Regis, Sheraton, and Four Points Honor Mohamed Monib

In a scene that embodied the highest meanings of loyalty and belonging, the management teams of St. Regis Kuwait, Sheraton Kuwait, and Four Points by Sheraton Kuwait bid farewell to Maintenance Manager Mohammed Munib, who concluded an exceptional career spanning sixty years. This departure coincided with Sheraton Kuwait’s celebration of its 60th anniversary, marking a rare historical milestone where the institution’s history intersects with that of one of the hotel family’s most prominent figures.
Munib joined the team on the very first day of Sheraton Kuwait’s opening in 1966, becoming a witness and participant in all stages of the development of this venerable establishment, which was the first global hotel to bear the Sheraton brand outside the United States. Over six decades, he contributed his expertise and competence to maintaining the highest operational quality standards, setting an exemplary model of commitment, dedication, and devotion to work.
Throughout his professional career, Munib kept pace with various stages of the hotel’s development and modernization, successfully contributing to numerous engineering and operational projects while preserving the hotel’s prestigious legacy and its status as one of the leading symbols of hospitality in Kuwait and the region.
On this occasion, Regional Manager Fahd Abu Shaar expressed his profound appreciation and gratitude for Munib’s contributions, emphasizing that “his professional journey represents an integral part of the hotel’s history, and his imprint will remain present in every corner of the hotel, and in the memory of generations of employees who worked alongside him and drew inspiration from his expertise and professional values.” He further affirmed that the coincidence of Munib’s retirement with the hotel’s 60th anniversary carries a deep symbolic significance, as it tells the story of a man who accompanied the hotel through its developmental stages and witnessed its expansion journey from its inception, dedicating his professional life to its service in an exceptional model that embodies the meaning of loyalty and institutional belonging.
The recognition ceremony was attended by Abu Shaar, Mazen Mahna, General Manager of Four Points by Sheraton, along with the executive management, a large number of colleagues, and Munib’s family, who expressed their pride and admiration for having worked alongside him over the past years. They wished him continued health, happiness, and success in this new chapter of his life, following a career rich with contributions that left behind a professional and human legacy that will remain an inspiration for future generations.
