Kuwainati: We will not fall into the trap

Spanish national team star Yamal had previously stated that his side does not fear facing France in the World Cup semi-finals, but rather believes it is the French who should be concerned, recalling La Roja’s victory over Les Bleus in the Euro 2024 semi-final.

In comments to journalists, Konaté responded: “Let him say what he wants. We are not afraid, nor should we fear anyone. Instead, we must remain humble and avoid falling into any traps, especially at this decisive stage of the tournament.”

He added: “Our focus is on the match, not on the surrounding noise. Honestly, we do not pay attention to what is being said; we try to prepare in the best possible way. In the end, we will see who emerges victorious.”
