Al-Adan Hospital Launches Knee Replacement Program and Expands Specialized Orthopedic Surgery Services

The Ministry of Health stated in a press release that the program successfully carried out the first two knee replacement surgeries, with two additional procedures planned to further enhance the hospital’s readiness to provide this specialized type of surgery and offer advanced treatment options to patients in line with the latest medical practices.
It added that the medical team successfully performed specialized hip and ankle joint replacement surgeries, an achievement that reflects the competence of the medical staff and the advanced capabilities provided by the hospital, and underscores its ability to deliver specialized surgical services in accordance with the highest quality standards.
The orthopedic surgery department has so far completed approximately 200 knee joint surgery cases, including joint replacements, deformity corrections, and sports injury treatments, as part of a continuous development plan that applies the latest technologies and medical practices to contribute to improving the quality of healthcare.
