Bahrain condemns continued Iranian attacks on its territory and the GCC countries and Jordan

The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the ongoing, reprehensible Iranian attacks that targeted the territories of the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as the United Arab Emirates, the State of Kuwait, the State of Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The Ministry affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s full solidarity with its sister states, praising the competence of Bahrain’s Defense Force, the armed forces, and air defenses of the sister states, as well as their vigilance and the high level of efficiency and readiness they demonstrated in repelling the blatant Iranian aggression that targeted civilian and vital sites and facilities using missiles and drones.
The Ministry emphasized the right of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its sister states to take all lawful measures to defend their sovereignty, security, and stability, and to protect citizens and residents within their territories, in accordance with international law, Article 51 of the UN Charter, and the Joint Defense Agreement of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, while committing to the highest degree of restraint and striving to resolve disputes through dialogue and peaceful means.
It called for Iran to fully comply with its international obligations, halt its hostile operations, and ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and the safety of vital waterways, thereby contributing to enhancing security, stability, and sustainable development in the region and worldwide.
