Ministry of Finance Launches Training Programs to Develop Skills of Government Entity Employees

The Ministry of Finance has launched a training plan for employees in financial roles within the financial sector at government entities, affiliated bodies, and independent institutions for the 2026–2027 fiscal year. The plan includes a number of new training programs and seminars aimed at developing employees’ skills and enhancing the efficiency of government financial performance.
The new programs include a course on preparing payment and refund requests for custodians under the Government Financial Management System, targeting the operational category of custodians at work centers within requesting entities that use the Government Financial Management Systems. Additionally, the plan features a seminar on the documentary cycle for storage operations, pricing and valuation of stored materials, and closing monthly and annual periods in accordance with the inventory management system within the Government Financial Management Systems. This seminar targets the supervisory category, represented by warehouse managers, inspectors, and department heads, as well as the operational category of warehouse custodians, warehouse affairs staff, and warehouse accountants in the financial sector at government entities and affiliated bodies.
These programs are part of a comprehensive training plan prepared by the Ministry, in line with its strategic directions aimed at developing national cadres and improving the efficiency of employees in financial roles, in implementation of the Council of Ministers’ decisions regarding the organization and execution of continuous training programs for members of the financial apparatus in government entities.
