Al-Najah Schools Honor Top High School Graduates
- 11 students achieved 100 percent, and 181 obtained 99 percent or higher

- 280,000 students graduated since establishment... with schools employing 850 teachers
Under the patronage of Minister of Education Jalal Al-Tabtabaee, Al-Najat Schools hosted an awards ceremony honoring the top graduates of the General Secondary Certificate for the 2025–2026 academic year, celebrating a group of outstanding students who achieved exceptional results. This event reaffirmed the schools’ leading position in the journey of private education in the State of Kuwait.
The ceremony was attended by Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs at the Ministry of Education, Hamad Al-Hamad; Acting Director General of the General Administration of Private Education, Mariam Al-Anazi; Sudanese Ambassador to Kuwait, Awad Al-Karim Al-Rehaila; Consul of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mohammad Bassam Rahma; along with representatives from relevant authorities, leaders of the Al-Najat Association and schools, and parents.
In his speech, Deputy Minister Al-Hamad congratulated the students, their parents, and teachers on this distinguished achievement. He emphasized that excellence is the fruit of diligence and perseverance, and urged students to continue excelling so they may serve as inspiring models in serving their country. He also praised the pioneering role played by Al-Najat Schools in developing the educational process.
For his part, Dr. Rashid Al-Hamad, Chairman of the Education Board at Al-Najat Schools and Vice Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, expressed pride and admiration for the outstanding results achieved by the students. He affirmed that these accomplishments represent an extension of a solid educational and pedagogical journey that produces generations capable of creativity and excellence.
Al-Hamad appreciated the significant support provided by the National Industries Group Foundation in developing the educational environment of Al-Najat Boys’ School in Hawalli. He also noted that since its establishment in 1968, Al-Najat Schools have graduated more than 280,000 students, contributing to the preparation of distinguished national cadres across various specialties.
Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, Faisal Al-Zamil, emphasized that the achieved successes are by the grace of God Almighty and then the result of the integrated roles played by the family, student, teacher, and school administration. He pointed out that excellence is not created by an individual, but by a comprehensive system working with a team spirit.
Al-Zamil clarified that Al-Najat Schools currently comprise 17 schools, employing 850 male and female teachers, with more than 13,000 students continuing their academic studies. He noted that the schools’ vision is directed toward exploring students’ capabilities and developing their skills from the earliest educational stages, in alignment with global transformations that combine academic achievement with the development of personal and practical skills.
Al-Zamil announced that the slogan for Al-Najat Schools for the upcoming academic year will be “Dual Competencies and Skills,” based on an educational vision aimed at preparing a balanced personality possessing both knowledge and skill, capable of assuming responsibility and competing in the future.
For his part, Dr. Salman Al-Lafi, General Director of Al-Najat Schools, outlined the key achievements the schools attained during the 2025–2026 academic year. He affirmed that the academic results reflected the quality of the educational system, with 11 students achieving 100 percent and ranking first at the national level in Kuwait. Additionally, 170 students scored between 99 percent and 99.99 percent, and 79 students scored between 98 percent and 98.99 percent.
He added that Al-Najat Schools continued their distinguished presence in local and international competitions, securing advanced positions in academic, cultural, educational, and sports fields, reflecting the scientific and skill-based level possessed by their students.
Al-Lafi pointed out that Al-Najat schools have been designated as an official center for Cambridge’s professional development programs for teachers, with four of its teaching staff obtaining international accreditation as professional development leaders. He also highlighted the launch of the professional teaching license in accordance with international standards, which contributes to enhancing educational quality and improving pedagogical performance.
He further confirmed the completion of the digital transformation project across all schools, through the development of the Al-Najat educational platform, fully equipping classrooms with interactive screens, and integrating artificial intelligence, robotics, and programming applications into the educational process. Additionally, the security and safety systems have been fully upgraded, providing a modern and safe learning environment that aligns with global best practices.
