Kuwait: I hope to reach Trump's level

England captain Harry Kane revealed details of a golf outing he shared with U.S. President Donald Trump about 18 months ago, describing the experience as “extraordinary” and “surreal,” and expressing his admiration for the American president’s skills in the game.

Trump, who is 80 years old, congratulated Kane after his contribution to leading England to a victory over Mexico and qualification for the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup, praising him on social media as a “great player.”

The “Three Lions” captain said, “I played quite well, to be honest. The match was about 18 months ago, when the president invited me to play golf in Palm Beach.”

He added, “When the President of the United States invites you, it’s a surreal experience; just meeting him and then playing with him on the golf course.”

Kane praised Trump’s abilities in the game, saying, “Honestly, his golf level is very good, and I hope I can reach the same standard when I reach his age.”
