Sisi honors the Pharaohs

Sisi, in a speech delivered during the meeting, expressed his pride and appreciation for the team’s honorable performance, noting that this positive impression was shared among Egyptians, Arab countries, Egyptian and Arab communities abroad, and the world.

The Egyptian president praised the high values demonstrated by the squad, considering the achievement to be the fruit of dedicated effort in Egypt’s name. He pointed out that sport is not just about winning and losing, but that what matters most is respecting the team’s contributions. He emphasized that the squad represented Egyptian youth honorably and created a sense of joy among citizens during the tournament.

Sisi commended the team’s performance, which reflected Egyptians’ capacity for success, stressing the Egyptian people’s love for sport and football, and their possession of many talents capable of reaching the level of the current stars. He called for the presence of “independent scouts” to discover young talent, affirming the state’s readiness to support these capabilities and provide them with opportunities, alongside supporting the national technical staff.
