North Korea seeks to expand its nuclear capabilities

The Central News Agency of Korea reported on Friday that North Korea has decided to take measures to strengthen its nuclear forces “in terms of size and type,” while urging the country’s leader, Kim Jong Un, to upgrade the military’s capabilities.

According to the report, Kim stated that North Korea’s security and “true peace” can only be achieved by building a strong military capable of controlling all threats.
