After Morocco goalkeeper Yassine Bounou saved a penalty kick taken by Kylian Mbappé in the 28th minute, the Moroccan goalkeeper was unable to stop Mbappé’s shot an hour into the match, allowing him to open the scoring. Six minutes later, Mbappé passed the ball to Ousmane Dembélé, who finished with a low shot into the net.

France will play a pre-final match on Tuesday in Dallas, and will await the winner of the Spain-Belgium encounter scheduled for Friday evening.
