US President Donald Trump said on Friday that the United States is achieving very good results with Iran and is holding talks with it. In remarks to the press, Trump stated, “We have defeated them, and we have not lost a single soldier in the past six or seven months of the war,” adding that “the Strait of Hormuz is open, and oil is flowing. We are talking to them now, and things are going well.” Fox News had previously reported that President Trump met with his national security team yesterday to discuss next steps regarding Iran.
