Investment Authority Requests Expansion of the Entertainment City Project Area

Huda Al-Mousa, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Public Authority for Investment, has requested the expansion of the site area for the Leisure City project and the determination of its approved coordinates. In a letter addressed to the Municipality, Al-Mousa stated that the Public Authority for Investment is overseeing the development works of the Leisure City project. As part of completing the necessary studies and procedures for the upcoming phases of the project, the Authority has commenced the third phase, which includes developing the project’s Master Plan, preparing specialized technical, commercial, and financial studies, and formulating the final investment framework, in preparation for completing the required procedures to move forward with implementation. She further clarified that, given the need to fulfill the necessary technical and regulatory requirements, the Authority requests to be informed of the procedures and requirements needed to obtain the approvals required to expand the project’s land boundaries and incorporate the adjacent area along the street and the waterfront into the total area allocated to the project.
