Trump: No Rush to Decide on Resuming War with Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump said he is in no hurry to make a decision on resuming hostilities with Iran, affirming that communications with the Iranians are ongoing and “things are going well.” In remarks to Axios on Monday, Trump added that there is “no need to rush” in making the decision, noting that the Iranians want to reach an agreement “more than ever.” He accused Tehran of attempting to stall and buy time during the talks, despite what he described as its growing desire to strike a deal. He said the United States has inflicted severe financial damage on Iran, which is suffering from a shortage of funds and fuel.
