The Kuwait Club men’s handball team was crowned champion of the 2025–2026 Kuwaiti Premier Handball League, having already secured the title a week earlier in the penultimate round. The official coronation took place after the final round, when they defeated Al-Burqan 36–21. This marks the club’s 16th league title, reinforcing its status as the most successful team in the competition’s history, with five more titles than its closest rival, Al-Salmiya Club, which has 11. The victory also extends Kuwait Club’s record of 14 consecutive titles.
Kuwait Club secured superiority over Al-Burqan in their final-round encounter, winning by a margin of 15 goals. Despite Al-Burqan’s efforts, led by national coach Yaqoub Al-Mousawi, to close the gap, the experience of Kuwait Club’s players prevented any comeback.
In other matches on the final day, Kazma Club defeated Al-Nasr 38–26.
At the end of the league, Kuwait Club topped the table with 25 points, followed by Al-Burqan in second place with 19 points, and Kazma Club in third with 16 points. Al-Arabi finished fourth with the same number of points as Kazma but ahead on goal difference. Al-Shabab Al-Kuwaiti (Al-Salibikhaat) came fifth with 8 points, while Al-Nasr finished sixth and last with just 2 points.
Kuwait Club and Al-Burqan officially qualified for the Asian Handball Champions League, having secured first and second place in the league standings.
