Agriculture Authority Launches 'Daira' Platform for Reporting Harmful Animals

The Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources launched its electronic platform, “Dirah,” in its first phase today, Wednesday, as part of the Authority’s strategy for digital transformation to deliver its services and streamline procedures. The Acting Director General of the Authority, Ms. Al-Masbouhi, stated in a speech during the launch ceremony that the platform will provide advanced digital services based on modern, integrated databases, facilitating beneficiaries’ access to the Authority’s services. She added that this step aligns with the Authority’s aspiration to convert all its services into advanced digital services that contribute to improving service levels and procedures, expressing her gratitude to all those involved in the project. For his part, Dr. Khaled Al-Faiz, Project Manager of the “Dirah” platform, said in a similar speech that the platform is currently in its first phase, limited to submitting reports on harmful animals and registering pets such as cats and dogs. He clarified that the platform’s services are available to citizens and residents who possess a civil ID number, noting that additional services will be rolled out gradually in subsequent phases, including services for breeders.
