Trump: My Endorsement of Netanyahu Saved Him from a Crushing Defeat

U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the preliminary results of the elections in the occupied entity, which currently show Benjamin Netanyahu leading his rival Gadi Eisenkot by approximately 56 seats to 48, after about 60% of the votes had been counted. Trump wrote on his platform, Truth Social: “When I announced my support for Netanyahu, the course of events changed completely; instead of a crushing defeat, the picture now looks more like a tie, with a delay in the results, or perhaps even a victory for Netanyahu.” He added: “All of this occurred following my announcement of support for Netanyahu, and I seek nothing but the good of the Middle East, Israel, and the United States.”
