Minister of State for Administrative Affairs: Disrupting work or delaying citizens' affairs is unacceptable

Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, affirmed that halting work or delaying citizens’ affairs is unacceptable, emphasizing that the citizen’s interest is a top priority. This statement came in a press briefing today, Tuesday, following her meeting with the Undersecretary and several officials to discuss the comprehensive work plan, monitor operations across various sectors and departments, and identify key challenges and obstacles that could affect the pace of implementation. Dr. Al-Huwail stressed the need to overcome barriers, accelerate progress, and enhance coordination and cooperation among sectors to ensure efficient and regular operations. She directed officials to develop clear action plans with specific timelines, continuously monitor their implementation, promptly address any shortcomings, and hold each official directly accountable for improving performance and raising service standards. She underscored that there is no room for laxity or procrastination in fulfilling duties, stressing that the upcoming phase demands serious field work, precise monitoring, and accountability for achievements, in order to achieve the Ministry’s objectives and serve the public interest.
