U.S. President Donald Trump hinted at the possibility of launching a new round of military operations against Iran, stating that the United States could carry out another operation if no agreement is reached. Trump pointed to the prospect of a further limited round within what he termed “Operation Epic Fury,” as Washington continues to pressure Tehran to reach a deal. Operation “Epic Fury” had been officially declared concluded last May, before U.S. operations shifted to a new phase. In a separate context, Trump spoke about Cuba, saying that the United States would address the Cuban file after concluding matters with Iran, signaling continued U.S. pressure on Havana. Trump had previously stated that reaching an agreement with Cuba remains an option and that he does not believe military action would be necessary.
