Amir receives Italian Prime Minister on the occasion of her official visit to the country

His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received, in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, on the evening of today, Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of the friendly Republic of Italy, and the delegation accompanying her, on the occasion of her official visit to the country. During the meeting, the close bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Republic of Italy were reviewed, along with their continuous development across various fields, as well as ways to enhance, develop, and broaden the scope of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries, particularly in economic and defense sectors, in a manner that serves their shared interests. Additionally, a number of issues and topics of mutual interest were discussed, along with the latest developments and updates on the regional and international scenes. Attending the meeting were Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Minister of Diwan Amiri Affairs; Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Major General (Retired) Jamal Muhammad Al-Diyab, Director of the Amir’s Office; Sheikh Abdulaziz Meshal Mubarak Abdullah Al-Sabah, Deputy Secretary of the Diwan Amiri; Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Director General of the Authority for Promoting Direct Investment; Mazen Issa Issa, Deputy Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs at the Diwan Amiri; Sheikh Saud Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah, Managing Director of the Public Authority for Investment; and Kuwait’s Ambassador to Italy, Nasser Sanhat Al-Qahtani.
