His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, received today George Al-Haddar, Chief Executive Officer of the global banking group HSBC, and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country. During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation in financial, banking, and investment sectors, and reviewed opportunities to expand partnerships between the two sides, thereby contributing to economic development and strengthening the State of Kuwait’s position as a regional and international financial and commercial hub. Attending the meeting were Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority, and Sheikh Khaled Mohammed Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, Deputy Head of the Prime Minister’s Diwan.
