Speaking to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) after attending the signing ceremony for the Government Partner Sponsorship Agreement for the Saudi Super Cup football tournament at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef said, “Hosting the tournament reflects the confidence of the Saudi leadership and officials in Kuwait’s capacity to organize this sporting event, and embodies the deep fraternal ties between the two brotherly countries.”

The First Deputy Minister emphasized the deployment of all Ministry of Interior resources to ensure the success of hosting the Saudi Super Cup matches, and to provide the necessary facilitations for spectators, participants, and visitors to Kuwait.

Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef welcomed his brothers from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to their second home, Kuwait, as well as all spectators from various countries, affirming that “the enduring fraternal bonds between the two countries lend special significance to this hosting,” and that Kuwait is committed to providing everything necessary to ensure its success.

He stressed that the safety of spectators and participants is a priority throughout all preparation and organization stages, highlighting the need for integrated security and service plans, clear responsibilities, and precise implementation to guarantee the smooth conduct of the matches and efficient handling of various circumstances.
