Amir Receives Call from Iraqi President

His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received a phone call from Iraqi President Nizar al-Amidi this afternoon, Monday. The call reviewed the solid bilateral relations between the two countries and their fraternal peoples, as well as ways to support and develop these ties across various fields. The conversation also addressed issues of mutual interest and the latest developments on the regional and international stages, particularly concerning the current situation in the region, and included an exchange of views on these matters, with an emphasis on the necessity of ending escalation and returning to the path of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve all outstanding issues.
