Bahrain's Minister of Information: Kuwait's media and cultural role is pioneering in the Gulf landscape

Bahraini Minister of Information Dr. Ruzan Al-Nuaimi today, Sunday, praised Kuwait’s leading media and cultural status and its significant contributions to media and cultural production, enriching the Gulf landscape. This came during a meeting between Minister Al-Nuaimi and Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jasem Al-Najim, who underscored the deep, fraternal, and historical ties between the two brotherly countries, rooted in familial and social bonds, and supported by the patronage and attention of His Highness the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and his brother, the Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect them.
Al-Nuaimi emphasized the importance of enhancing media and cultural cooperation between the two countries, as well as exchanging expertise and experiences, to contribute to the development of media and cultural work and serve shared interests.
For his part, Ambassador Al-Najim reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to continuing to strengthen bilateral and fraternal relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain across various fields, particularly in the media and cultural sectors. He stressed the importance of expanding the horizons of cooperation and joint coordination to bolster bilateral ties and bring benefits to both countries and their brotherly peoples.
The two sides discussed ways to develop bilateral media and cultural cooperation and the importance of enhancing media coordination among the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), as well as continuing joint efforts to elevate Gulf media standards.
Attending the meeting on behalf of the Kuwaiti Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain were Counselor Yousef Al-Banwan and Second Secretary Lujain Abu Aliyan.
