As part of its ongoing efforts to preserve Kuwaiti heritage and strengthen the connection of new generations with it, the Kuwait Finance House organized a field visit for students from Sumaya Elementary School as part of the “Ya Zeen Tarathna” (Our Heritage, How Beautiful) campaign for 2026. The campaign aims to introduce children to aspects of authentic Kuwaiti heritage through an interactive approach that combines knowledge and enjoyment.
The visit included a series of interactive activities that provided the students with the opportunity to learn up close about various traditional Kuwaiti customs, traditions, and old folk games, alongside an interactive workshop that highlighted key milestones that were part of children’s lives in the past, along with a simplified explanation of their significance in Kuwaiti collective memory.
On this occasion, Amani Al-Wara’, Deputy General Manager of Corporate Communications at the Kuwait Finance House, said: “We are pleased to organize such visits, which provide us with the opportunity to introduce new generations to aspects of our authentic Kuwaiti heritage and strengthen their connection to their country’s history and identity. We believe that preserving heritage is not limited to documenting it, but extends to presenting it to future generations through innovative and interactive methods that bring them closer to it and foster a sense of pride. The ‘Ya Zeen Tarathna’ campaign embodies this approach through diverse activities that combine learning, experience, and entertainment, thereby embedding the values of Kuwaiti heritage in the hearts of our children.”
