Bahraini Crown Prince: Moving forward with supporting partnerships, enhancing Gulf cooperation, and expanding areas of joint work

Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed on Thursday that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, is continuing to support various efforts and initiatives aimed at consolidating partnerships and enhancing cooperation among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, as well as expanding areas of joint work to bring prosperity and development to the Gulf countries and fulfill the aspirations of their peoples.
The Bahrain News Agency reported that these remarks were made during a meeting at Qasr Al-Qurayyah between the Bahraini Crown Prince and the heads of delegations participating in the 22nd meeting of the Committee of Ministers and Heads of Civil Service Authorities, the 12th meeting of the Committee of Ministers of Labor and Social Affairs, and the 12th meeting of the Committee of Ministers of Social Affairs and Development of the GCC states, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Secretary-General of the GCC, Jasem Al-Budaiwi, was also present.
The heads of delegations conveyed greetings from the leaders of the GCC member states to the King of Bahrain and to the Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister. In turn, Prince Salman bin Hamad conveyed greetings from the King of Bahrain and his own greetings to the GCC leaders, emphasizing the role of these meetings in strengthening cooperation and integration pathways within the Gulf, and in formulating additional joint initiatives and programs that bring prosperity and development to GCC countries and their citizens.
He noted that the continuous progress witnessed in the trajectory of joint Gulf work, along with the achievements and gains realized across various fields, reflected the strength of the bonds uniting the GCC member states. He stressed the importance of leveraging these successes to open new horizons for cooperation and coordination, translating the visions and aspirations of the Council’s leaders into further accomplishments that enhance the development and prosperity trajectory.
He highlighted the commitment to continuing the development of joint Gulf cooperation and coordination in the fields of labor, social development, and civil service, building on the achievements realized therein to strengthen the efficiency of work systems and support the realization of shared development priorities and objectives. He pointed to the importance of continuing to exchange expertise, successful experiences, and best practices among member states in various fields, particularly in labor, social development, and civil service, and utilizing them to develop programs and initiatives, thereby enhancing their efficiency and effectiveness and achieving desired goals.
He also affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to continuing its efforts to develop the labor market, civil service, and social development systems, contributing to creating more specialized opportunities for the citizens of the member states and supporting sustainable development pathways in the GCC.
For their part, the heads of delegations participating in the meetings expressed their sincere gratitude and deep appreciation to the Bahraini Crown Prince, praising his continuous interest and commitment to strengthening the trajectory of joint Gulf work and advancing various cooperation pathways toward broader horizons that meet the aspirations of the member states. They wished the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people continued progress, prosperity, and development.
