Kuwait and Italy: Cooperation to support the business sector and encourage innovation

His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, received, in the presence of Oil Minister Tariq Sulaiman Al-Roumi, today, Adolfo Ursu, Minister for Business and “Made in Italy” at the Italian Republic, and his accompanying delegation, during his visit to the country. The meeting reviewed areas of cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Italian Republic, as well as ways to enhance and develop them, particularly in economic, investment, and industrial sectors, supporting the business sector, and encouraging innovation, all in service of the mutual interests of the two friendly countries. During the meeting, the Minister for Business and “Made in Italy” expressed his sincere gratitude to the State of Kuwait, represented by Kuwait Petroleum International (Q8), for responding to the Italian government’s call to cap fuel prices, reflecting its deep concern for the economic situation of Italian families. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority.
